Smoke Damage After House Fire

If someone suffers through a fire, their home is going to be left with more than just the obvious fire damage. This customer had a fire that heavily affected the first two floors and destroyed a lot of the home. Even though the top floor that is being shown in the before picture does not have as extensive burning as the rest of the home, it had extreme soot and smoke damage. The smoke from the floors below had traveled upward and had time to sit in the walls. The soot and smoke damage was extreme enough that our team had to take out the walls and ceiling to clean behind it. The after photo shows an air scrubber used to help clean the air quality. It is important in helping remediate the fire damage.
