Fire in Chicago

This picture does a good job of showing how fires on the outside of a structure can make their way inside. The fire burned away siding which allowed flames to make their way inside and burn the under part of the roof. SERVPRO of Oak Park-River Forest is here to help you rebuild after a disaster like this.

Soot and Smoke Damage

When a fire broke out on the second floor of a home, most of the fire damage was concentrated to the bedroom. The bathroom shown and other parts of the house had extensive soot buildup and smoke damage. Some think that cleaning up soot and smoke build up is simple and things just need to be wiped down. This bathroom is a great example of when the damage is too much. Our team had to redo it entirely and the customer loved their new bathroom. You could not even tell a fire happened there.

Fire in the Break Room

This was the aftermath of a fire at a restaurant that caused significant damage to the break room. Any fire is dangerous, but especially restaurants since they have flammable gasses or materials used for cooking. However, no fire clean up is too big or extensive for us to handle.

Kitchen Fires

Kitchen fires can be bad, but the smoke damage from them can be even worse.  Make sure you have a fire extinguisher in your kitchen to put out any kitchen fires and to limit the amount of loss.

Bathroom Damaged From Fire

This bathroom was damaged from a fire.  The picture represents soot on the floor and walls mixed with water that was used to put out the fire.  After the fire was extinguished, SERVPRO came in and removed the affected content to clean at the warehouse.  The cleaning technicians then cleaned the entire structure from the ceiling down to the floors.  Equipment was used to clean the air and remove the smell of smoke.  The entire structure was painted and the home looked as good as new.

SERVPRO of Oak Park-River Forest left the home looking "Like it never even happend."
